Pickle is one of the most traditional item what everybody tasted and also like very much. It is generally used as side dish. People prefer this with rice as well as Indian bread (roti, paratha, poori, naan etc) too. Its flavor and beautiful aroma make your meal more delicious and mouth watering. Spices bring this unique flavor in pickle. Such flavor can be adopted in many common dishes to make it unique and tasty too. So make your achar masala at home and use this to make many delicious dishes.
Achar masala recipe
- Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - ½ tbsp
- Mustard seeds - ½ tbsp
- Ajwain seeds - ⅓ tbsp
- Saunf / fennel seeds - ⅓ tbsp
- Methi / fenugreek seeds - ⅓ tbsp
- Red chili - 3
- Heat a pan and roast all spices
- Allow all spices to rest for 10 minutes and pour in a dry grinder and grind all spices
- Make fine powder of all spices
- Take achar masala in a small container for using in many dishes
Whenever you will make dry spices powder or masala, always be careful about water or moisture. If moisture is added to your spices or it comes in contact with water then you can not preserve this spices for long time.
You can use this achar masala in paneer dishes, potato dishes, tasty fries and many more. Once you make this achar masala for whole month, then you can save a lot of time and make delicious dishes within very short time.
