NO TRAFFIC! LOW TRAFFIC! NO TRAFFIC! LOW TRAFFIC! NO TRAFFIC!
No matter what is your purpose to have a blog, it is always frustrating if you are working hard, writing posts regularly but not getting enough traffic.
|Many people are lucky who have achieved success in blogging in their first year. LUCKY? Is it? Nope! Actually, they worked very hard to get this. Not only hard work is sufficient but that too in the right direction. Otherwise, there are millions of people who proudly won their blog (or blogs). Many hundred thousands of them also working hard and very determined but very few are successful.|
A few years back it was a little bit easy to be a successful blogger but today you are searching for a path towards success but eventually, you are actually lost in a crowd. Does it sound so negative? Maybe it is but point is, nowadays you need to have proper strategy along with all hard works otherwise nothing is going to happen in reality.
PLAN! WRITE! POST! SHARE!
|A. Plan – Blogging Strategy|
B. Writing Style – Engage Readers
C. Post Carefully – Include SEO
D. Sharing Posts – Execute Promotional Plan
Blogging is no longer an easy game what you can win without any practice or hard work. So to make your website/blog visible to hundreds of thousand readers you need a clear blogging strategy.
But the fact is that not every blogger starts a blog to become a pro. Actually, most of the people start blogging to share their thoughts on various things of their interest. So later on when they think to be a pro and monetize their blog that time it becomes very difficult to set a goal and align everything (past and future blogging activities) towards that goal.
So freeze whole blogging strategy at a very early stage. You have to decide on a multi-niche blog or single niche blog, the tone of voice in your writing, blogging software etc. Then your only task is, writing good content, post those and then share on different channels and interact with readers regularly.
What will you write? how often will you write?
You have to obey your predefined blogging strategy. It will help you to maintain a flow throughout your every blog post. Your writing style plays an important role to increase website traffic.
Effective writing to engage readers and increase website traffic
Think about every possible query what may come in your reader’s mind. Write that question in that post if possible and answer your own way. This way you will be able to engage your readers and he will be delightful and a possibility of revisiting to your blog will be higher and that way you will increase website traffic.

Once you wrote a nice post, article, story or solution but still you will have some pending jobs to do before publishing on your blog.
- Insert inbound or outbound links, these two will help the search engine to know better about your post. Not only internal link building will help in SEO but also outbound links to authority site will help to improve your page rank.
- Write proper SEO title, meta description and slug, never forget to include keywords in all three.
- Schedule your post
Now you already have your blogging strategy, started writing a nice post and also taken all SEO matter into consideration. You have already published your first post or a few more too.
But still have a pending job and that is sharing all such posts on social media, forums and leaving your footprint through commenting on other blogs. Sharing your blog posts on social media and other platforms not only give you some free traffic to your blog but also, in the long run, it will effect in your overall SEO (Search Engine Ranking). But getting significant traffic from social media and referral sites are not so easy, it needs time and constant effort.
It is also true that nobody can equally successful in all social media platforms. So identify all social media platform which is not performing for your blog and starts thinking beyond what you used to do and find possible opportunity to grow followers (or likes or whatever it is) on those platforms too.
There are some mistakes I have done as I did not have any such ideas or experience on social media marketing (or Social Media Optimization). So I am doing good on Pinterest, Reddit, referral traffic from other blogs but not so successful on other platforms. Initially, I had my own strategy for Facebook and Twitter and those works initially to some extent but was not sustainable and even not possible if you have big goals.
Apart from all, I must tell you from my personal experience that blogging needs a lot of skill, activities, effort and motivation. It demands multiple skills in a blogger and a blogger needs to make his hand dirty with multiple activities. So time management is also an important skill to be developed in a blogger. You will have to be productive and hence a newbie blogger should learn to get more done in less time.
So To Increase Website Traffic :
KEEP THINKING!! KEEP WRITING!! KEEP POSTING!! KEEP PROMOTING!!
