Sabudana vada with curd - A taste breaker in breakfast food

Ingredients
  • Tapioca pearls / sabudana - 200 gm
  • Potatoes - 3 medium size
  • Peanuts/moongphali - ½ cup
  • Sugar - 2 tsp
  • Green chillies - 3 pieces
  • Cumin/jeera - 3 tsp, whole
  • Salt - as needed
  • Oil - as needed
For curd based sauce making
  • Curd - ½ cup
  • Cashew nuts - 2 tsp, paste
  • Peanuts / moongphali - ½ tbsp, crushed
  • Green chillies - 2 pieces
  • Honey - 2 tsp
  • Salt - as needed
Instructions
  1. Boil potatoes and mashed (use pressure cooker for faster cooking)
  2. Roast peanuts till black spots will come on peanuts, then remove it from fire and wait till it becomes cool, finally grind it to breaks peanuts into very small pieces
  3. Add all ingredients to make sabudana vada (sabudana, mashed potatoes, peanuts, sugar, green chillies, cumin, salt)
  4. Make round balls with that and finally press those to make flat shaped
  5. Now heat oil in a cooking pot and deep fry those vada till both sides of vada become light brown
  6. Now your sabudana vada is ready
  7. Then blend all ingredients for making curd based sauce (curd, cashew nuts, peanuts, green chillies, honey, salt)
