- Coriander seeds - 1 tbsp
- Cumin seeds - ½ tbsp
- Mustard seeds - ½ tbsp
- Ajwain seeds - ⅓ tbsp
- Saunf / fennel seeds - ⅓ tbsp
- Methi / fenugreek seeds - ⅓ tbsp
- Red chili - 3
- Heat a pan and roast all spices
- Allow all spices to rest for 10 minutes and pour in a dry grinder and grind all spices
- Make fine powder of all spices
- Take achar masala in a small container for using in many dishes
