I personally had good times with Maggi noodles, particularly when I was living in a rented house in Delhi. It was always in my monthly groceries. Because anytime emergency could come in various forms what we never could predict, haha. Two reasons were very common. The first one was – I missed my lunch so I need some instant solution and at that moment the only solution was instant Maggi noodles. It normally takes three to four minutes if you do not do any experiment and just follow traditional way to make this. The second most common reason was – my cook was absent which is absolutely unpredictable. So we had to wait for that cook but after few hours we used to start to believe that “The cook is not coming today.” So we had to make our own dinner. But by that time it was too late and nobody wanted to cook or even ordering food from the local restaurant was not always possible because we were so hungry and could not wait another half an hour or even more. So what was the solution? Yes, it was instant Maggi noodles.
But if I would say that I tried Maggi recipe only during those phase of life but today Maggi noodles have no role in my life then it will be wrong. Still, I like to eat Maggi noodles and enjoy this a lot. Butter Maggi is one of my favorite.
Okay now coming to butter Maggi for what this post finds a place in this blog. This Maggi noodle is utterly butterly delicious because I have added Amul butter, haha. I just bought two small packets of butter for Rs 12 and add it to this Maggi dish. If you think that adding butter to any dish is normal in India and it won’t change the taste of this Maggi noodles significantly then you are absolutely wrong. This is now such a dish what I love to have as evening tiffin or any time when I am hungry.
Though it is not just adding butter to this because it is something more of that. This butter Maggi is a little bit hot in taste as green chillies are added to this. So it works great for the evening snack. people who want to make it little spicier than traditionally what it is. Then you can try this. Finely chopped garlic is also added as it normally helps to bring desi flavor in Indian food and that too when you fry it in butter. I love to add some fresh seasonal vegetables cooked in butter to make it healthy and tasty.
