Aloo jeera recipe

One of the simplest tasty dishes. Anybody can try this recipe at home.
Ingredients
  • Potato – 2 large size
  • Ginger – ½ inch
  • Cumin seeds – 4 tsp
  • Red chili / mirch powder – 1 tsp
  • Turmeric powder (haldi) – 1 tsp
  • Sunflower oil – 1 tbsp
  • Green chili – 1 large
  • Coriander leaves (chopped) – for garnish
  • Lemon juice – according to taste
  • Salt – 1 tsp
Instructions
  1. Cut potato into small cubes and boil
  2. heat oil in a pan and add ginger and cumin seeds
  3. Cook for 3 minutes and add chopped green chilies
  4. Now add small potato cubes, add salt and cook well
  5. Once potato changed its color, add red chili powder and turmeric powder
  6. Fry for another 3-4 minutes and add coriander leaves for garnish
  7. Switch off flame and add few drops of lemon juice
  8. Serve hot with tawa roti
